Class Description:
The 4 pillars of Fluid Acrobatics:
* Acrobatic Fundamentals
* Floorwork
* Movement Improvisation
* Creation

Through a multifaceted exercise compiled to vitalize as well as to challenge both the body and mind the fluid acrobatics class aims to provide a fundamental understanding of ground based acrobatics. Together we will develop fine motor skills for acrobatic movement by diving into different topics such as weight distribution, generating momentum, using gravitational forces, evaluating risk, falling and rolling.
Through working with improvisational tasks and through the exploration of movement qualities such as Fluidity and Softness, this course aims to playfully enhance your overall movement intelligence and to inspire you to integrate acrobatic movement into your own sustainable and wholesome movement practice.
Lawrence aims to create a space where we can inspire one another and benefit from the diversity of experiences, styles and backgrounds within the group.

By beginning with a grounding warm-up, we establish a shared practice connecting to the floor, enhancing body awareness and stability.
As limits create freedom, this class aims to offer knowledge of contemporary dance training as a structure that calls to be broken and rearranged playfully through improvisation. We integrate movement qualities into floorwork phrases and gradually introduce dynamic partner work, fostering trust in a supportive environment.
